Welcome back to another exciting and music-filled school year!
Fourth and fifth grade students at the North and West Intermediate Schools can sign up for instrumental music lessons this year! The students will participate in an in-school assembly during the second week of school where they will have the opportunity to hear the sounds of the instruments they can choose from: violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion. Paperwork about our instrumental music program will be sent home with the students following this assembly and parents will be able to enroll their students on-line.
We invite parents to attend an evening meeting for band sign-ups on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the Wilmington High School Cafeteria (parking available at the 4th of July Building). At this meeting we will discuss the band program curriculum and what students and parents can expect from this program.
